New House?
Nicole and I are toying with the idea of renting a different house. We've struggled with whether to rent again or to try and jump in to buy a foreclosure with all the craziness going on. Anyways, the house we're looking at is in Canyon Crest, 1377 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. It's almost 300 more square feet than we have right now and the rent is about $100 less.
Pros:
It's a nice neighborhood with a great shopping center nearby and a brand new park going in close too.
It's a quick shot into downtown Riverside.
Cons:
I currently have about a 5 minute commute. It would probably increase to 10-15 minutes without traffic and 20-30 minutes with traffic.
It has really dark green carpet. Nicole's seen it; I haven't. We'll see if we could live with that.
We could no longer walk to the Plaza from our house.
