Blogger Beta

I've been up on Blogger Beta for a few days now. It's pretty sweet. You can actually easily add links and tons of stuff to your template without messing with HTML. And you can add labels (categories) to different posts. If you're a blogspot user, make sure you check it out as soon as you're eligible to move over to it.

  1. Blogger the McWhorters Says:

how do i qualify for beta?

  2. Blogger Mike Lovato Says:

I think they're opening it up to small chunks of people at a time. It'll show up on your blogger dashboard when they've deemed you worthy.

  3. Blogger B. C. Lovato Says:

But do I lose all the stuff that I already have in my template? Custom graphics and whatnot?

  4. Blogger Mike Lovato Says:

I think as of right now they don't have an html editor up in it. So, if you are good with that sort of thing you may want to wait until that's fully completed. If you just want to be able to easily add "content", then go with the beta.

  5. Blogger B. C. Lovato Says:

Hmm, I think I'll stick with the current version until they let you edit the html. The labels are a nice fature that blogger.com is way behind on. Oh well.
